Yay for Keyonna! You did a great job teaching how to start a blog. Here are some fun pictures of the night. It was small, in size, but they learned a lot :0)

Sewing Binge
I blame this entry on Cynthia because she has been on a sewing kick and got me thinking and wanting to create so here is a picture of one of my first creations. I sat down this passed week and surfed the internet and spare moments to research how to sew or do various projects and I started out by making matching fringe burp cloths and receiving blanket for Jenn Freestone's baby shower. This is how they truned out. I was pretty proud of myself. I'll have to let you know when I get to the next project on my list and post about that one next.
Hadley Turns Two
Man, I guess now I can officially think Hadley is two instead of six months ago. I have a tendency to think my kids are older than they really are, I don't know why, but I do. Anyways, Hadley Baby had her birthday the other week. We had two parties. One with just the four of us and then one with grandma and pop pop. It was a lot of fun and Hadley now has some new toys to play with and enjoy for a while. Yeah for Hadley! Happy Birthday my little diva with her own language.
As soon as she opened this present and saw the shoes she yelled, "Shoeys!" It was so cute.
Even blurry, this is a great picture. Way cute!
Hadley was trying to master the art of eating birthday cake with a spoon, fork and hands

Hayden's 4th Birthday
Hayden had almost as many birthday parties as he had years of his life this year. We had one while we were visiting my family back in May, one with just us as usual and then with the extended family in town. Needless to say, he was way excited because he got to have lots of "Happy Birthday cake" and ice cream as well as presents to go around. Here are some winners, but more are on the website at this link here. Hayden is 4

This will make summer a whole lot better
4th of July
We finally got to go to Richfield for a small town 4th of July and it was a lot of fun. They had a parade and a ping-pong ball toss where if you got one that had a star on it, you got a prize, but if you got a colored dot, you got a free sno-cone, cotton candy or drink. We had about a dozen colored stickers so we were sitting pretty in that department. The fair after the parade was fun. I checked out a scrapbook tent of course and picked up a couple fun things to support the town's economy. I had wanted to stay for the trout pull, but the kids were tired and needed naps so we went home instead. The trout pull is where they dump a ton of trout in these plastic covered pools and the little kids get to go in and try to catch one to take home. It would have been great so I think down the road, that's a must-do. We watched the town fireworks from the front lawn of grandma's house and then had a neighborhood session of our own. I couldn't believe how organized and amazing they were on the block. I could've sworn these people were retired pyrotechnic artists because they just kept pulling out these boards with fireworks set up to just light and go and they were GOOD. We kind of had our fun and threw some little ground flowers out in the street and cheered real loud like we had the same calibur of fireworks to show them which was funny. Made me laugh. I still like our fountains too though. Those are always fun to watch. Here are a few pictures. The rest are on the website I believe, but I'll double check and if not, I'll work on getting them up there.
One float threw popsicles out instead of candy
This is about an eighth of the candy she collected with help
Cousins
Both kiddos got to stay up wicked late passed their bedtime to watch all the fireworks.
Play Group
It's been a while but we finally had another play group. I guess I've kind of put those on the back burner for planning due to a bunch of stuff but Cynthia was amazing for putting this on. We made rag-tied flipflops and scrunchies for the Fourth of July and she had Playdoh cookies, berries and graham cracker frosting sandwiches for snacks. It was so good. Thank you for putting it on. Here is a picture of Hadley with her scrunchie (I couldn't find her shoes small enough to decorate).

Hannah's Wedding Reception
A picture really is worth a thousand words. Best Wedding picture ever that I have seen. Awesome! Go Hannah!
Time to catch up again so here are a couple more entrees that are a little late. Two weekends ago, I had the privilege of going to see one of my friends from back home at her wedding reception. I was planning on going to her sealing, but things happened and gas is expensive, so I just went to the reception which was closer (down the road). Anyways, I had so much fun seeing her and her sisters and catching up with what they were up to lately since I hadn't talked to them for a few years now. I found it funny when Hannah finally saw me and said, "Oh my goodness, I have a Stickney at my wedding!" It was good to see her and how beautiful she looked and to meet her hubby. They look so happy and I wanted to share a couple photos from it, but the rest will be up on the website to look at soon. It was so much fun.
The happy couple...
